Ruth Lewis

Dr Ruth Lewis is Senior Lecturer in Social Sciences at Northumbria University. Her current research interests focus on feminism and feminist activism. Previous research focused on violence against women, especially intimate partner violence, legal responses and perpetrators programmes. She was also a member of North East Feminist Gathering organising groups 2013.

Elizabeth Sharp

Dr Elizabeth Sharp is Associate Professor in Human Development and Family Studies at Texas Tech University. Her research focuses on gender, romantic and familial ideologies, eating disorder recovery, and qualitative methodology. This research was conducted while she was Visiting Fellow for two years at Durham University’s School of Applied Social Science.

Jenni Remnant

Jenni Remnant is an ERSC-funded PhD student at the Institute of Health and Society at Newcastle University. Her PhD focuses on cancer, work, welfare and retirement transitions. She graduated from Northumbria University in 2011 with a BA in Disability Studies and Professional Practice Studies and in 2013 completed her MSc in Health and Social Science Research at Newcastle University. She was a member of the North East Feminist Gathering organising group 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Rhiannon Redpath

Rhiannon Redpath is a freelance researcher, youth worker and campaigner. Her interests include women's rights, feminism and feminist activism. She graduated from Newcastle University in 2011 with a BA in Geography. She was also a member of the North East Feminist Gathering organising group in 2013.
