E.T.C. Dee is a research assistant at the Complutense University of Madrid. He has written book chapters about the English squatters movement in 'Squatting in Europe: Radical Spaces, Urban Struggles' (Minor Compositions), 'The Squatters' Movement in Europe: Everyday Commons and Autonomy as Alternatives to Capitalism' (Pluto) and 'Vulnerable Demons? Moral Rhetoric and the Criminalisation of Squatting' (Routledge). He is an ex-squatter and a member of the Squatting Europe Kollective (sqek.squat.net).
