Daniel Burdsey

Daniel Burdsey is a Reader, and Assistant Head of Research, in the School of Sport and Service Management at the University of Brighton, UK. His research focuses on the relationships between race, ethnicity and popular culture. He is the author/editor of four books including British Asians and Football: Culture, Identity, Exclusion (Routledge, 2007) and Sport and South Asian Diasporas: Playing Through Time and Space (Routledge, 2014; with Stanley Thangaraj and Rajinder Dudrah).
