Kalwant Bhopal is a Research Officer at the Thomas Coram Research Unit (University of London, Institute of Education). Her research interests include gender/feminism, 'race' and ethnicity and the use of different research methodologies. Her book, Gender, 'Race' and Patriarchy: A Study of South Asian Women was recently published by Ashgate (1997).
