Naomi Richards

Naomi Richards completed a multi-sited study of the 'right-to-die' debate in the UK as part of her PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh (awarded 2010). She has also conducted research into the use of art in eliciting testimony from people at the end of life, visual representations of older age, and, most recently, the need for and provision of palliative care for older people in UK hospitals. She is currently an Economic and Social Research Council Fellow at the University of Sheffield.

Rebecca Rotter

Rebecca Rotter completed a PhD in Social Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh in 2010. Her research focused on the consequences of extended delays in the asylum process for asylum applicants living in Scotland. She is currently a research assistant on an ESRC fellowship on resettlement and environmental conservation.
