Stuart Braye

Stuart Braye is a senior lecturer in sports studies at Teesside University in Middlesbrough where he has been since 2000. He has an MSc in Sports Management from Northumbria University (1998). He competed in the 1992 Barcelona Paralympics where he won a bronze medal in the 400 metre track event for amputees. He has eight years of experience working in sports development with disabled people and was a member of the BCODP (now the UK Disabled People's Council) national council from 1997-1998.

Tom Gibbons

Tom Gibbons, PhD has been a senior lecturer in Sports Studies at Teesside University since 2007. He has a first class BSc (hons) in Sports Studies from De Montfort (2002) and an MA in Sociology of Sport from the University of Leicester (2004). Tom has recently been awarded his PhD on the relationship between English national habitus and football fandom (2012).

Kevin Dixon

Kevin Dixon, PhD is a senior lecturer in sports studies at Teesside University where he began teaching in 2005 He has a BSc (hons) and MSc in Sport and Exercise from Teesside University and a PhD from Staffordshire University investigating football fandom as consumption in the age of liquid modernity (2011).
