Martin Allen

Dr Martin Allen is joint author with Patrick Ainley of Education make you fick, innit? (Tuffnell 2007) Lost Generation? New Strategies for youth and education (Continuum, 2010) and the E-book Why young people can't get the jobs they want. (downloadable at www.radicaled.wordpress.com) He was Vice Chair of the National Union of Teachers Secondary Advisory Committee (2002-2010) and taught economics in a London sixth-form. He has contributed to a range of education and trade union journals.
