Alice Pettigrew

Since completing the PhD from which the data presented in this article is drawn, Alice Pettigrew has worked as a visiting lecturer in Education Studies at the University of the West of England and is currently a Research and Evaluation Officer within the Institute of Education's Holocaust Education Development Programme. She is attracted to interdisciplinary approaches to the study of social phenomena and her primary research interests include: processes of identity formation; the intersections of 'ethnicity', 'race' and 'nation'; multicultural and antiracist pedagogy; conceptions of interdependence, responsibility and remembrance; 'messy' methodologies; and narrative research.
