Maria Zadoroznyj

Maria Zadoroznyj is a sociologist with a joint appointment in the Institute of Social Science Research and the School of Social Science, University of Queensland. One of her major research interests is the impact of social policy and maternity service provision on the health and wellbeing of new mothers and their families.

Cecilia Benoit

Cecilia Benoit, PhD. is a professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Victoria and Scientist at the Centre for Addictions Research of British Columbia. She is leading in a variety of community-based research projects that employ mixed methodologies to study the link between social determinants, risk behaviours, health status and access to health care services.

Sarah Berry is a PhD Candidate and Course Instructor at McGill University, in Montréal, Québec. She is currently conducting research for a Mental Health Commission of Canada-funded study at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute in Verdun, Québec.
