Lydia Martens

Lydia Martens is senior lecturer in sociology at Keele University (UK). Her publications include Eating Out: Social Differentiation, Consumption and Pleasure (2000, with Alan Warde) and Gender and Consumption: Domestic Cultures and the Commercialisation of Everyday Life (2007, with Emma Casey). She is co-editor (with Bente Halkier and Tally Katz-Gero) of a special issue called 'Applying Practice Theory to the Study of Consumption: theoretical and methodological considerations', published in the Journal of Consumer Culture in 2011.
