Perry Share
Perry Share is a sociologist and is Head of Department at the Institute of Technology, Sligo, Ireland. He is the co-author (with Mary Corcoran and Hilary Tovey) of the text A sociology of Ireland, the fourth edition of which will be published in 2011, and is co-editor of a number of books on social care practice and Irish sociology, including the Institute of Public Administration's 'Sociological Chronicles' series (with Mary Corcoran). He is a Research Associate of the Irish Social Science Platform and has research interests in the sociology of food and eating; professionalisation and the social professions; and intertextuality and plagiarism.
