Cate Watson has research interests in children's services provision, pupil mental health and wellbeing and in the development of professional and institutional identities. She has recently published Reflexive research and the (re)turn to the baroque (Or, how I learned to stop worrying and love the university) (Sense) and, with Joan Forbes, Service integration in schools : Research and policy discourses, practice and future prospects, also published by Sense.
