Ian Roberts
Ian Roberts is a lecturer in sociology at the University of Durham. He began his working life as an apprentice plumber in the shipyards of Wearside. His thesis on the changing division of labour in the shipbuilding industry, Craft, Class and Control was published by Edinburgh University Press.
