Mike Savage

Mike Savage is Professor of Sociology at the University of Manchester, where he is Director of the ESRC Centre for Research on Socio-Cultural Change (CRESC). His recent publications include 'Globalisation and Belonging' with Gaynor Bagnall and Brian Longhurst' and papers in 'Sociology' and 'The American Journal of Sociology'. He is completing a book on 'Discovering English Society 1945-2000: popular identities and the social science imagination'.
