I am currently working as a research associate in the Department of Educational Research at Lancaster University. I completed my PhD in June 2005: ‘Classed and gendered experiences of combining employment and motherhood’ at Lancaster University in the Institute for Women’s Studies. My research interests include: classed and gendered educational and employment trajectories; feminist-Bourdieuian social theory; and critical discourse analysis.
