Caroline Dewilde

Caroline Dewilde works as a post-doctoral researcher with the Research Group on Poverty, Social Exclusion and the City (Onderzoeksgroep Armoede, Sociale Uitsluiting en de Stad, OASeS), Department of Sociology, University of Antwerp. She recently obtained her PhD; her doctoral thesis being on Forms and Trajectories of Poverty in the Belgian and British Welfare Regimes. Multidimensional Poverty Dynamics Analysed from A Sociological Life-Course Perspective. Recent English-language publications include a literature review on the link between the life-course perspective and the study of poverty and social exclusion in The British Journal of Sociology (2003) and a more methodological article in Social Indicators Research (2004) on the multidimensional measurement of poverty.
