Liz Stanley

Liz Stanley has edited two of the UK's leading journals, Sociology and Sociological Research Online, been a member of the BSA Executive, a member of two sociology RAE panels, and has held sociology chairs in three UK sociology departments, most recently the University of Edinburgh, while also being a former Director of Women's Studies, a former editor of Women's Studies International Forum, founding editor of a specialist journal, Auto/Biography, and researching mainly under the umbrella of historical sociology coupled with feminist sociology.
